Good news! The frame finally turned up on Saturday evening, spent the rest of the weekend building it up.

Turned out kinesis have changed the position of the front mudguard attachment points on the inside of the fork so I had to wait until tonight to bend new mudguard stays to fit. Due to the rain this morning and no mudguard I haven't had a chance to ride it yet, so tomorrow's commute will be the shakedown ride... I've raised the stem a little, as I'll be moving to herts soon and this'll entail a 28 mile each way commute, so will see how I get on with it. Got a 130mm I might chuck on there if it feels a little short.

I'm happy you finally got it sorted out, even it if took you a lot of waiting and emailing :(. Don't push to hard on that Doval until you adjust to it :) using the middle position of the 5 to choose its a nice start.

Yeah, gone for the middle position for now. I like the reminder printed on the chainring to take 20mg of glucose after riding :)

And thanks! Glad to have a geared bike again. And sorry again for filling up your build thread. How's your kinesis going by the way?
