  • So sorry to hear this. I hope you get it sorted. I've only ever insured with pet plan, as the cat charities give out 6 weeks free insurance and I continued it.

    And your post a while back about the cat flap was really useful. Wish we had rep again so I could thank people for useful posts without have to do it in the thread.

    Worst case for me would be suck up with JL for another year then if Patch stays well and healthy, switch to petplan next year, unless JL wants to charge me for more money for £3000 cover than petplan would for £7500 cover. I need to balance the possibility, however small, that Patch's tumour mighr return and the 2 years exclusion petplan has proposed...

    Vet said the marker for this type of tumour spreading is 8+ and Patch's report shows less than 1, so chances are very very slim, but like any medical condition, you can never be sure.

  • I will keep fingers and paws crossed. Sam had a tumour on his paw and they cut it out along with one toe. You wouldn't notice it now unless you were counting toes. He is now 4 years cancer free. Thank you pet plan.
