If you are a gifted descender I'd start at 160mm

If you are lithe fixeh skiddr who only resorts to real brakes when things get sketch, go 140mm.

Thanks. I think I tend more towards the latter category, though certainly not one for radical fixeh skidz (unless in the wet, obvs).
