  • Knee is still hurting, decided to be still a train wanker (hopefully today will make me realise why I hate the train and I'll be back on the bike tomorrow)

    1/10

  • ? I'm not going to run a control.

  • That's right. You weren't there. So no judgements please.

  • Maybe the bright sunshine made me risk compensate. Maybe my gloves. My newly serviced brakes perhaps. Or the Exposure Diablo flashing on my helmet. Maybe maybe if if if..... .

  • no judgements please

    You started it.

  • Have you considered cycle training?

I jest. We have a cyclist equivalent thing to mansplaining going on a lot in this forum.

  • I've probably misunderstood, what was the road?

  • It's wet.

People do silly things in the wet.

    Wet.

  • Forgot a t-shirt so am currently wearing a merino wife beater and a hoody zipped up to the top so I don't look like some sort of US gangster.

  • Guy should be careful, if he goes too quickly then that collar is going to launch both him and the Christmas tree up into the atmosphere...

  • First day back on the bike after a long weekend of rest and the knee is still hurting =/

How long should one rest to fully recover from knee pains?

  • What gear are you on?

  • New cleats. Thrilling.

  • Not sure what has caused it, but if overuse then take a full two weeks off and then ease back in carefully. If not sure of cause then physio.

  • To the count dressed as a courier with a dumb top-knot on a white fixed with dildo or similarly fashionable narrow bars: you're a cunt.

  • You're probably 'on here' but whatever. What makes you think I want comments on my riding style and that you are well placed to give them? My advice would be not to concentrate on whether I 'undertook' you in a bus lane two lanes away from you or 'undertook' you again when filtering whilst you were dawdling trying and failing to trackstand but to concentrate on not smoking marijuana cigarettes whilst riding and not running red lights at congested junctions.

  • I was mortified to see an LCEF badge on your bag. I think you would be better suited to employment at deliveroo. Until then I hope your topknot gets stuck in your spoke cards for races you never attended that you you printed off on the library computers at university before graduating and failing to get a job in merchant banking like your wealthy father and deciding to take a year out to 'just, like, chill and commune and smoke dope and shit'

  • knee is still hurting

Didn't you recently lower your saddle by quite a bit, after a bike fit? Did you give yourself a few weeks to adjust to the new position, or head straight out for long/hard rides?

  • Cool, two weeks off! :(

  • Got injured from this...

  • Blackfriars Superhighway particularly dickish today, lots of undertaking, shoaling, unsafe overtaking. Not nice.

  • ^Yes, not much fun this morning. It can't cope with the numbers wanting to use it. I think it's just a matter of time before there's a big pile up involving just bikes.
For rush hour they should consider changing the phasing of the lights to improve the flow of cyclists.

  • That's 75", stick an 18t on the back.
