This question was asked a lot earlier upthread, but not conclusively answered; would a 140mm rotor be OK to use up front on a fixed commuter that's unlikely to be descending a mountain anytime soon?
If you are a gifted descender I'd start at 160mm
If you are lithe fixeh skiddr who only resorts to real brakes when things get sketch, go 140mm.
