  • Cannondale CAAD5 frame and forks
    56cm frame
Slice Premium forks (carbon steerer - uncut, carbon legs, alloy tips, these were originally built by Time for Cannonade and are still one of the best forks made - very light and very stiff). Now increasingly hard to come by in good condition.

Generally in great shape, no dents, no crash damage. There a number of little marks in the paint, cable rub to the head tube and the paint is starting to bubble in a few little places (primarily cable stops, under the bb and the rear brake bridge). Would obviously be immaculate with a respray (and this was my plan till being offered a Felt AR). I've owned from new (in 2005! I'd like to see it go to a good home and get the use it deserves).

Easily built to (just) sub 8kg as pictured.

    £175
Parsons Green (but I have a spare frame box so could post).

I also have a full Campag Centaur groupset that could go with it (10s, 2008 vintage when everything was machined not stamped: 172.5 53/39 cranks, carbon levers, 13-26 or 12-23 cassette). The Ultra-Torque BB bearings are in need of replacement (c.£25). A 27.2 layback seat post and a set of Campag Khamsin wheels (never used outside, only ever on the turbo). PM me if interested in combining.

Not sure these were made by Time. I believe the Premium fork was Cannondale made / rebranded.

The full carbon, 300g Slice SI fork was made by time.

Still, nice frame, nice forks, fair price.
