I saw an old guy ridding an e-bike (a city bike) and passing all the "pros" on his climb to Lagos de Covadonga. :)

Sitting in the beer garden of the restaurant "Hostal Rio Ara" in Fiscal. Just finished a 14 mile mtb ride through yhe abandoned village of Borroy. Of the first 8.6 miles to the top, I'd say at least 7.5 were uphill. Rest of the ride mostly downhill, not much faster.

A Lotto Jumbo NL team car is here too.

Froome on the ropes . Movistar hammering it.

If I never hear that 'heart and soul' record again it'll be too soon.

This is definitely a bad day in the office for Sky, they have been completely been outsmart by Movistar and Tinkoff today.

What happened? Only just turned it on to see Froome is way down. Crash, or a break he missed?

Contador put the hammer down from the start and before sky could group up it was too late. Movistar kept the pace high and forced a second break containing most of the roulers and it was then all over .

Brambilla attacked in the first kilometre. Contador and Quintana went with him, Sky missed it. It all split up and Froome only had two riders with the gap at a minute. It got worse from there on.

Dave Brailsford has been kidnapped by a Spanish/Colombian cartel and Froome has been told that if he doesn't let it go...

Sky missed the early attack by Contador and Quintana. There was a quick gap and Froome was almost isolated right from the off.

Contador has been having an affair with Froome's wife. Froome found out about it on the line this morning and Contador scarpered up the road.
