Also found a blue ITM Big One for the C40, been looking for ages. And some age sympathetic pedals too, again a colour I’d been looking for a long while in good condition.

Funnily enough I tried black tyres when the bartape was off to assess just that but my eyes drew me back to how it was. I do agree though it should look better but the proof was in the pudding. I may be in a minority though with that view :-)

got a 7400 BB for it to complete the groupset

Stem doesn't look like a HS-7400 or am I mistaken?

Indeed it is 7700, well spotted. I have a 7400 Headset but can't be arsed to fit it. I'll save that for a rainy day.

Picked up this one yesterday. Sadly the bike isn't my size (54, I need 56) so will dismantle it and build it up again with modern stuff for a friend. Lucky him...

Should be closed. But i have a broken spring inside right lever.

Fair enough, you shall be excused :) I only asked cause its quite a common sight and it's somewhat annoying from an OCD pov. Great bike nonetheless, the chainstays are pure madness!
