I reckon he'll play ahead of Given. Yes, he's been second choice to Carson since last season, but he's a good keeper and Given is no spring chicken anymore. He got the blame from a few of our fans for our collapse under McClaren a couple of seasons ago when he flapped at some crosses, but he's generally quite good at commanding his area and can pull off some decent saves when needed.

His weak point is probably his distribution and communication. Don't expect him to be able to launch any fast paced counter attacks.

Our deadline day dealings seem a bit weird and some fans are unhappy that we've got rid of Hendrick and Martin is off to Fulham (initially on loan). Bringing in Vydra a few days ago will hopefully be a masterstroke, but only signing Anya today seems like a bit of an anticlimax after mumblings of lots going on behind the scenes for the last few days.

I think Sissoko was more adding to our squad for the CL. We almost need two teams for the prem and CL. Last year when we met Dortmund we got really shown up due to having to play a second string.

I am quietly optimistic about this season. We were shit against Liverpool and I think that is probably the best they can play. We still managed a draw.

He's quite solid, positioning is sometimes wrong so he concedes more than he should. Nice guy with a young family settled in a big house on the edge of Derby so not willing to go too far away club wise. Stoke would be a dead easy commute and he may as well warm your bench than ours.
