I used these guys http://www.elitemotorcycletraining.com/location.php I think they're also called PRT (Pro rider training).
Good tuition. One of the guys was a 200% bell end though. Luckily I only had him once, and he was a decent teacher I guess.
All the other dudes were good and weren't those typical motorcycle instructors.
That place on Kingsland Road book out loads of spots on the Mod 1 test centre.

Brilliant. It looks like he's physically yanking the bike through the corners.
He was sublime to watch. He rocked up at the Japanese GP at 18 years of age, nobody knowing who he was, and come the race, was beating the giants of Mick Doohan and Kevin Schwantz at his first attempt, until he crashed out. Phenomenal.
Sadly taken from us at only 32 by a truck performing an illegal U-turn in front of him back in Japan several years ago. He was riding a scooter...

This angers me, people being killed by people doing stupid illegal things.
Miss the fact we lost a talent and a life.

Absolutely, taking the time to talk about him tonight has kinda bummed me out that he's no longer with us.
Of course, with motorsports, the irony of doing thousands of miles at incredible speeds on dangerous machines and then losing your life in a traffic accident, often, as you say due to someone else's stupidity, is even crueler.

Can't believe I didn't name the riders in the second photo!
Year: 1997 - Alex Criville, Mick Doohan, Carlos Checa, Nobuatsu Aoki and Luca Cadalora. Not sure which track they're at.

I remember watching that race on the TV. Crazy man, he was awesome, a proper wildman.

Just put a fresh MOT on my ZX12R. It's for sale if anyone would like such a beast. There's about 10,000 miles on the clock. She's runs a full stainless Yoshimura exhaust system with K&N filter and power commander (set up on Dyno by PDQ). There's also a full set of R&G crash protectors, a Pyramid undertray, a Pyramid carbon hugger, flush indicators, and integrated rear light unit. I also have all the original parts. PM me if this bike takes your fancy ... I'm looking for £2K.

That is a lot of bike for the money. Perfect intercontinental ballistic tourer!

That's a ludicrous amount of bike for £2k. I spent that on a Vespa which has ZERO mod cons and about 3 1/2 horsepower.

If only! Looks awesome.

Wish I could be that irresponsible. Really tempting. What year is it?

How fast does it go?

Doesn't matter. They're all FAF. Do it - that's a top deal, just leave enough cash left for Eurostar, Petrol and Tolls for the South of France. That thing will crush Peage. Wibble.

Any one feeling flush.

It's a 2001 bike (ZX12R A2) registered in 2002, and it's derestricted, so on a long enough road it should reach 200MPH

With a third of that amount of money you can get a fireblade tt version which I'm sure it's much better.
Or, with three times that amount of money you can get a RCV and be above to the indescribable.
But, nice.

That's just stunning - serious dream bike territory. I'd rather splash out on that than a new Merc.

Top of the range, even for a zero miler. I'd rather have a period modded RC30 with some of the HRC Kit and a full Sir Tony Scott blueprinted motor. The 30 was a significantly more special bike than the 45 (though I love the 45 too.) John Kocsinski's Castrol RC45 was one of the best looking and most awesome sounding superbikes ever.
Honda building a toned down, 211v for the masses (or even at a 20k or so price point) is probably the only thing that would tempt me to buy another big capacity Superbike. Spesh if they still gave it some HRC gilting.

'Cept you'll have to stop every 2 hours to fill up.
It's effing amazing you can get something like that for £2000 tho.

2hrs? Barely used to get an hour on my bike. I once got 20 minutes from a full tank...naughty but fun.

I think I am riding without an MOT, I was sure it was October but DVLA says Mid August. I am going to book it in tomorrow for the end of the week, but I need to use it for another 2 days to get to work.
Will I go prison? -

It might invalidate your insurance if you have a smash, not 100% on this but it's a consideration.

Maybe. What else are you up to?
