Vine was aggressive when he stopped dead like that. She was provoked.
That's not an unambiguous aggressive act, and her behaviour is predicated entirely on his actions prior to his stopping. What he could have done is irrelevant, what he did do was fairly neutral.
I doubt any of it would have happened.
Irrelevant, it did happen and criticism of her is valid.
