TBH he sounds a bit like Adomah. Fucking fast and good ball control, but not much end product. Offers nothing else tracking back or anything - no teamwork. One trick pony at the moment. And made of glass.
He's really exciting off the bench but has barely featured over the last year through injuries and not being fancied to help out in a relegation battle - proper luxury player. Everyone thought he would make a big impact, but has been a massive waste of money. Ideas above his station and I think now most wouldn't be sad to see him go. -

Newcastle want 30 mill! Half that at the most, I don't really see what problem he'd be solving for us.

Ditto. Perhaps a more refined/dynamic version of Wanyama - who we've just bought?
He's probably worth £20m at todays silly prices.

The Lee Hughes of Spanish football:

EDIT: Wrong Alonso apparently. My bad. Who knew Bolton had 2 players called Alonso.

Theres a Big Sam managing Real Madrid joke in there somewhere - I just can't be bothered to look for it.

Adomah in. Presumably a swap with Adama (if he can pass a medical).

Good player in the championship.

We're being linked with Nicklas Bendtner and Ravel Morrison.

Also signed Carayol from Boro. Adomah is much better than him, right?
-
• #130312
Carayol kinda faded away in the last few years. Not sure what happened to him really.
Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustapha_Carayol he fucked his knee.

Loads of Villa fans wanted us to take Morrison - better than Pogba etc. Too risky for me.
9 in and 15 out for us this window. Starting line-up now only has 1 or 2 from last year.

• #130314
That's a good thing, right?
-
• #130315
Yes - excellent business. No-one particularly exciting but should have a decent enough squad to make a push for promotion. Ideally with an extra keeper and CM today - but that's probably greedy.
And I'll never have to watch N'Zog, Richardson, Lescott, Sinclair again. Hopefully not Micah and Gabby either. Mind you Hutton's still hanging around like a bad smell.

I don't get it that Spurs are after Sissoko.
As for David Lolz coming back. I'll believe it when it happens.

Why is ex-England test cricketer Dominic Cork reporting for SSN in Stoke?
-
• #130321
Seems like Conte is defenders difficult to come by. Rumours of a bid for Ogbonna aswell. Other rumours saying Madrid want rid of Isco or Rodrigues so they can bring in Payet. And after all that we are signing either Micah Richards or Alvaro Arbeloa...is it 2010 again?
-
• #130322
Sissoko is going to everton now.. Luiz is on Euro star to london. Incidentally the vanarama conference has abolished the transfer window.
-
• #130323
Speaking of Everton, who did they sign with all their billions?
-
• #130324
Haven't seen it, but he is from Staffordshire (Like lots of Derbyshire players), and he is a Stoke fan

Bournemouth or Milan...Bournemouth or Milan...we must be the only nation in the world whose 'national team' players would choose Bournemouth.
Spurs in for Sissoko... Good player, but not really sure why we are buying another CM.
