does anyone know if there are there any similar sessions to the ones run by Hackney GT in southwest London. I remember seeing some run by Twickenham CC in the past but cant see that they are running anything this year?

Mac at Twick CC (and BC coach) usually emails something out nearer to October, but fully expect it will go ahead! I can post up here when I hear about it (He usually emails a couple us Kingston Wheelers)

I rate the WTB Cross Boss. Makes sense to go for a higher volume tyre if you're running tubeless and the width is not going to be scrutinised by UCI officials. No experience of them in proper mud yet though.

I've got some 35mm Panasonic cinder cross on at the mo. Plush.

I had a pair of Ritchey clinchers once, punctured three times in four races. I binned them.

Appropriate tyres have not yet arrived so I'll be on 23mm Gatorskins.
