Only changes from off the peg were my own pedals (which got changed to clipless after this pic cause I forgot that I don't know how to ride flat pedals), and a cambium saddle.
Super impressed with the bike, I'm not an experienced mtb-er by any stretch of the imagination but it handled great on my jaunt to epping, did a few mediocre jumps over tiny kickers and the tyres offered a good bit of shock absorption. The build kit at the price is amazing. Haven't ridden it enough to give an in depth analysis but riding it was very fun and made me smile a lot.
I bought one of the 2017 Pine Mountains last week. Should be putting it together and going out on it tomorrow and I'm very excited. Never thought I'd buy an off the peg complete again but it's such a good price. Only downside on the 2017 is the joytech hubs really, and the 2016 one has formulas.
Do it!
