You can use any hose but need a specific thingy from tektro/TRP.
It comes with the bleed kit which you need anyway, and sometimes a spare thingy comes with the levers.
If you are thinking about the banjo thingy, that can be reused I believe. It has been a while since I've fiddled with hylex and I only did it once.
