I think that's essentially what I'm struggling with SF. I race crits and road races. The Canyon is 2k f+f and is without a doubt the best frame in the line up but 2k is a lot to be racing on. The R3 is a bit cheaper at 1.7k but I don't think it's as good a race bike. The Ritchey can be built to race with a force group and a couple of well chosen carbon bits (superlogic seat post, stem and my FFWD f6r wheels) but I worry about the twisting forces in big efforts (1500 watts).
This is all with my previous Canyon which can be repaired (BB de bonded). If it can be fixed then that can be my race bike while I get something else for 'best bike'.
