What is the idea of the rear fender? Or did it break off or something. I'm also toying with the idea of putting a disc fork on my Muddy Fox. Canti's don't brake for shit.

Breezy man. That's what I did on mine with some AWOL forks You suddenly realise how invaluable discs are when the bike is loaded up. Even thinking of fitting HS33's on the rear just to see how well that would work.

I recycled an old front fender and used it as a rear one. So it's a bit on the short side (but that's actually quite helpful when I need to put the bike upright in the elevator).
I had to drill new holes in it, and I couldn't manage to get them centered and aligned, so the fender and struts are a bit off.
But hey, it works!
