    Yes I looked at 15 mondeos diesels before I bought mine and it was the best of a bad lot. Noted that I was after a diesel but the amount of traders trying to hide they trade and saying sold as seen. My C5 was the bargain and got fucking trashed by a wanker.

  • Cambelts are the big ones for these, required every 60000 miles and entails pulling the whole engine out, is my understanding. So worth mentioning in the ad. Anyway, that was the result of one minute of searching on ebay, I'm sure there are better elsewhere :)

    At least the citroen HDI ones are quite straight forward and the biggest cost are the bits inc tensioner and water pump while my age of mondeo diesel is the timing chain. Part of me liked the idea of the v6 duratorq engine...
