If you're looking for a budget track bike, Fuji Track Comp tick all the box, especially at £280.

;)

Yea what's that about? Any idea why they'd design a frame that isn't compatible with arguably the most popular fixed gear crankset on the market?
-
• #3113
That looks fucking excellent though

Because they don't know what they're doing?

More like a design flaw not caught before they ordered the frames built. You can of course ask why a track crankset has such a fat spider.

Oh yeah

So, to follow up on the chainstay issue. I finally got around to try a Sugino 75. Seems to be 1.5-2mm clearance.
I am disappoint.

Try with Campagnolo Centaur 111mm BB... What's the chainline of your Hed disc?
My Dolans run smoother/straighter with the Campag BB than SG75 (with DA HB-7600 or Novatec hubs...). -

After that BB shell is faced, it'll be even tighter. Look at the gaps between the BB cups and BB shell...

Never mind the disc, I will need to build/get a rear wheel for normal use. But that BB would only push the crank 1 mm out compared to the 109 on there now. Would still be tight, and I would need to buy it to see if it would work.
It really sucks. I want it to work, and sending it back would mean even more work for me to ship it and to get Norwegian VAT back. Dolan say they'll only cover £30 of the shipping, and I'm looking at £40-50 to get it out of the country. What a f*cking mess.
@Pifko Yep, I know, I didn't have to tool to tighten it properly.

So chances are a new pre cursa won't work well with whatever crankset you have?
-
• #3123
Yeah only 130bcd pseudo track cranks :(
Sad about @larsenroad

This guy seems to have managed to fit omniums on his new pre cursa.
Who even sells them anymore in the UK? Neither dropouts nor 8ball listed them on their webshop last time I checked. Which leaves Standert in Berlin...
