Billic has really chucked the cash around this transfer window, in part to set them up for Europe and also because they've suffered from injuries. But Zaza is a pretty average player.

Chairmen said they wanted a marquee/mythical 20 goal a season striker in June. Got turned down by everyone and his dog. But a striker must be had at all costs to show the club is "progressing" and appease us fans. This summers window has not filled me with the confidence that last years did.
On Perez, he is very solid. Did well in a middle of the road Depor team last year. Unfortunately I think he will be this seasons Joel Campbell for Arsenal.

Apparently West Ham are about to splurge £24m on Zaza. 5 goals in Serie A last season, shit run up in the Euros.
