Hi all. I've just fitted a new 1 1/8 headset to the frame I'm building up but I've experienced an issue in that everything fits fine, however the top bearing sits too deep in the head tube meaning that there is no contact between the top bearing and headset cap resulting in a lot of play and no smooth movement when tightened up. Any ideas? I've fitted all parts of the headset so I'm lost as to why this is happening!
