depends on what style you want, but we've got Acova fitted in a few rooms and getting more fitted next month. They're the traditional column rads and have been really good so far and not that spendy: http://www.screwfix.com/c/heating-plumbing/column-radiators/cat5840006

I hadn't seen them, thanks, although I can't work out if you can flip a long thin vertical rad 90° to make it a sleeker horizontal design, we have a couple square bay windowed rooms which need short shallow options.

Next job is to find wall dimmer switches that aren't horrid.

Bloody blimey, very nice but way over our budget sadly. I'm thinking £150 a piece, somewhere inbetween those bisque ones and crappy £50 Screwfix/Wickes etc
