• Remembered also the perceived danger question being difficult because the range of things covered wide range of:

    1. Likelihood of encountering danger (lorries=several times a journey, cars, peds= all the time, black ice= a couple of times a year)
    2. Severity of injury if something happens (lorries=lots lots lots, peds=not so much)
    3. Likelihood of something happening per risk encounter (cars=hopefully extremely rare, black ice=quite likely)

    I'm sure there are proper terms for this stuff. But a single scale of "which is more dangerous" didn't work for me.

    I think the 'proper terms' are just severity/impact, and likelihood/probability: it would be nice to have some recognition of confidence/ability to mitigate the problem as well.
