  • Tbh it opened up fine and the response did also say that if I was unable to bend it back (I'd said I planned to try but wanted to get in touch first incase they wanted the guards straight back) to get back in touch.

I think I'd rather retain the right to leave feedback (which I've seemed to lose in the past once a dispute gets closed off) though whether I go all the way to negative or settle for neutral is yet to be decided.

On the subject of the guards themselves though, holy fuck they are a pain to fit! Maybe I'm just used to fitting plastic guards but I also reckon squeezing the 45mm guards over 35mm tyres ain't helping anything as they seem to be very close on both width and diameter.

Biggest struggle is getting the 2 eye bolt things onto the stay and into the guard with the stay positioned evenly. I've only done the front one of those so far so any tips for the rear? I think I need to go back and tweak the front a bit as well.

I've had to run the stay down and under the disc brake at the front as attaching it to the mid blade eyelet was pulling the bottom of the guard in too much.

Should I drill the rear and fit the L bracket instead of using the crimp around one? Probably should eh?
