I've got Chromecast and it'll cast whatever is on my phone, be it videos, games, apps etc... all not through the browser. Install the app, select Cast this device (or something). Bosch.
Never had it not work with anything before but then I don't have the Sky app.
Alternatively film your phone and show it on the telly. Crap res but better than watching a postage stamp,

I thought Chromecast would just cast what is on the browser? This is Sky TV's proprietary app which I have to watch it through
