This is my main worry - a 50T would solve that, but I'm more of a grinder than a spinner and have always run 53/39 on all bikes..... However, I'm hoping this is going to be a winter bike and will teach me the art of spin....
Got any CX1 levers/calipers you're looking to pass on?!

I assumed incorrectly that max size was 42t with cx1 but I was wrong - I'm trying oval front and 42t was max size for 110bcd wolf tooth component. my cx1 is also set up with a 11-40t cassette for the hilly bits
sorry, can't see me getting rid even though its a bit cluncky compared to ultegra

Spin for the win, 42t front and 36-11 rear! Get up anything then ;)

rich have you checked out the gear range with the CX1? I have it on my pickenflick and even with the 42t on the front you can run out of gears.
