    Yep, would never pick a colour with inspecting a swatch first (Will probaby paint a scrap tube as test before I decide whether i like it or not!), but was just checking i'm actually looking in the right direction before I start hunting down paint codes.

    I'm a big fan of colours that appear black at first glance, but change on closer inspection, so could be just what im after.

    There's a really nice BMW dark blue that does this, my mate had a 2010 5 series in it. Looked black until the sun hit it. Maybe cobalt?

  • Could be Carbon Black? Carbon Black was a regular colour on e46 M3's. Looks black in low light and then a Deep Blue in sunlight. Great colour.

    With regards to Oak Green, was that a Porsche colour? I thought it was more commonly associated with MK2 Golf Gti's?
