Analog film photography and cameras

That is one dark focusing screen though!

Yup Rolleicord VB, not used is as much as my 35mm cameras as its a bit more cumbersome to use. Love the results when I nail it though.

Bringing it to Berlin tomorrow for the weekend and shooting Ektar 100.

I'm tempted to give this a new home, since @cagimaha mentioned use with a Rangefinder, the internal meter in my Konica Auto S2 is flaky, so it might be worth a try and go with battery-less setup. #oldskool

Fuck it off and go sunny 16. It's the fastest, least distracting and only reliable meter anyway.

You should have a good time with the Ektar this weekend.. nothing but sun an 30°C weather!

it's lovely but I can't help but read that close-up out-of-focus bit of fuschia or whatever it is, as a shadow of a lampost on the blue sky. shadow on sky! brainwut.

Thanks @haveo and @hoefla, I know what you mean, I was backed into a Large fuschia to get the shot and the 'bit' on the left just sprang out. If I was any good at Shop or Gimp...or could be bothered...
I just liked the colours and the shapes, so it's completely untouched.

Just had 4 rolls of slide film developed and scanned, some of the ones I like are below... A couple of double exposures from when I had issues with the self timer, but I kinda like them. Film stock was that rebranded agfa you can get on amazon for £5 a roll...
Shots taken in Singapore, Sicilly, Lake District and ye old London town..

Good choice of film for travels. What's up with your winding mechanism?

The camera I was using had a self timer on the lens which I kept hitting by mistake, I'm assuming that's what's created a load of the double exposures/winding issues.
Quite like the effect just wish I'd known when I was doing it I would have tried to do it on purpose..
