  • Free to a good home, this was my late grandads and i'd rather not send it to a charity shop where it will likely gather dust and never be bought, its in pristine condition with all original instructions and seems to be working as the needle moves but beleive it just needs a new battery.

P.M me, dont mind posting it at cost just would like it to be used.

  • Ah sweet memories.... I grew up in the Eastern Block and remember guys using this photometer. I really hope it finds a good home. I use my Gossen all the time. Both of my Pentaxes have accurate meters though biased towards transparencies, i.e. the readings are always very conservative. Gossen in contrast is always spot on with print film. Apparently a matter of calibration.

  • Nice bit of kit, they used to come bundled with Zorki 4 rangefinders quite a lot. They don't use any batteries though, they use a selinium cell which generates electricity relative to the amount of light it's exposed to which then moves the needle.

  • I'm tempted to give this a new home, since @cagimaha mentioned use with a Rangefinder, the internal meter in my Konica Auto S2 is flaky, so it might be worth a try and go with battery-less setup. #oldskool
