  • ^ is there a full sideshot of your Pomp @Mr_B?

  • Doing my Deliveroo shifts on a fixed Pomp

  • On a scale of one to smashed to paste what does the food look like when you pull it from the box?

  • Never checked, but I felt bad for the woman who ordered a bottle of Champagne and a cheese board... Should have warned her that it was likely to go everywhere

  • What are you using to attach the phone to the bars and is it any good? I'm looking for something to do this.

  • What in the blue fuck is that?

  • If it's the standard deliveroo one it's a piece of shit.

  • There was this little rubber thing on kickstarter that does that. But it only for dry weather or waterproof phones if its wet.

@enghoff do u remember what it was called?

  • Was it the Finn? I was thinking of getting one but would prefer a stem mounted version due to more available space. But I suppose this is OT.

  • Finn is really good if you don't need waterproofing

  • Also, rotate your bars up and levers down, it will be more comfortable.

  • anyone lookin to shift a Small Pompino per chance?

  • Love the colour and matching components. Is that powder coated? Is the seatpost just coated/painted out of the frame or the full length of the post? If the latter how do you take into account the increase in diameter post coating/painting?

  • Looking good. Are those paselas under 45mm longboards? If so, what width of tyre? I'm about to rebuild my pomp with the same setup. I'm wavering between 700x32 and 700x 35.

  • @Cranky Frame is painted, with rattle cans. Fork is a complex sandwich of Plasti-Dip & paint, described at length in this thread. Seatpost & stem are rattle-canned, I did the seatpost down to the minimum insertion point and the paint was thin enough not to make any difference.

@Cupcakes 32mm Paselas under 45mm Longboards. Not sure if 35mm would work - clearance under the seatstays is tight, even with the wheel so far back in the track ends.

  • If only SKS would move the mounts for the mudguard stays to outside the 'guard to reduce spray to the feet. I can't afford PWD 'guards. I know this can be rectified with a bit of patience and diy, but you shouldn't have to.

  • It was just a random no-brand one that they gave me when I got the job. Not waterproof whatsoever, I just keep my phone in my pocket now

  • Ta, good to know!

  • Indeed. Still, price:performance is unquestionable for SKS.

  • I thought this was the Pomp I saw at the Rapha store last week! Nice to see it again

  • I bet you could easly mod those basket struts to fit on the brake mounts, would only take a 90 degree turn

  • Not sure I'd ever want to do that, besides they aren't a flat bar - they're two overlapping pieces pressed into crescent-sections and bolted together, so very stiff. I'd perhaps consider mounting them mid-way up a fork leg that had the right eyelets, but I don't think mounting racks/baskets to canti posts is a particularly good idea.

  • @Mr_B where did you get the downtube decal done?
