Helped my housemate fit a new chain on his 11speed ultegra-equipped bike. Bought a new KMC X11-93 chain from an eBay seller, used chain tool to cut it to length and fitted it with the supplied quick link. Within about a minute of his first ride on it this happened:
It's not the quicklink that's gone, just one of the normal ones somewhere in the middle of the chain. Did I do something wrong, or is this a manufacturing fault or something?
