Yeah I figured. I have a cap like this already from Bontrager, direct from Trek when I used to work in the trade. Its not bad really (although this one is definitely lower quality but not surprised given the price). Just odd that they show a different material in the listing.

Just raise a dispute on aliexpress and there's a 'refund, no return' option or similar. Did this with Oakley's that were the wrong colour, no problem.

Cool. Thanks.

Any reccomendations for bottle cages? Just replaced the ones on my Cervelo to find that the cages both sit too low/close together so they can't fit both bottles.

I'm using them, they're good.

Yep. Bought three when the pound was stronger :'''''(
Work well and super light. I keep meaning to acetone mine.

I've got these nice titanium ones

Shiiit. Little bit scary when any post suddenly slips... Then that happens! You planning to raise the issue with the supplier? I'm looking at getting a similar post myself for a recently acquired TT frame. Will definitely remember the carbon assembly paste!

I've also got two of the fake bontrager ones. work well, hold bottles, light and look cool
-
• #4837
I bought two of those, one works really well - the other is shit. maybe buy 3 to be on the safe side

This is what I did (on your recommendation I believe) - all fine!

So FWIW I filed a refund only dispute. Item cost £6.42 total. I proposed a £2.50 partial refund. Got it approved within 20 minutes. So just under £4 for a substandard copy of a morevelo cap. Not bad I suppose, maybe... Maybe I should've asked for more. M'eh.

I've used Kinlin rims before (actually selling a complete pair of wheels just now in the Classifieds) and I was seriously impressed with them. Lightweight and well built rims

kinlin are great, hubs look like novatec so all good

I filed a similar claim for full amount, seller asked me to cancel and they'd post another out.
Waited two days then given full refund.

I seem to think Superstar use Kinlin rims. I have these http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/arc22-ultrawide-wheelset.htm and they're £183 with the code SPEND20. Bit heavier, but that's actual weight not claimed.
Just throwing it out there!

I seem to think Superstar use Kinlin rims.
They do. The Pave 28 rims are Kinlin XC279s, the Arc 22 and Arc 31 are XR22T and XR31Ts respectively. I know, I should get out more...

Ha. I thought as much. When I was looking for a new set of wheels I looked at handbuilts and stuff with Kinlin (a few of the builders I spoke to recommended them) and someone here pointed me towards Superstar, who ended up being about half the price of any wheelbuilder for essentially the same components.

Update on the Morchvelo "Melon" lycra kit.
I initially purchased a XXXL kit based on their size chart but it was way too big so I passed it onto @stevo_com.
I am 5ft11 / 34" waist, totally non athletic but the XXXL would fit someone 6ft2+ with a 38"+ waist.
I received the new kit yesterday, in size XL and it fits well, however, the quality is not as good as the first kit I received and does not have 'MORVELO' branding, instead it has JIASHUO branding.
I did 8 laps around Regent's Park this morning and the stitching is already coming undone on the bibs so this kit is unfortunately disposable.
I will get in touch with the seller to attempt a partial refund but based on my two orders, quality varies greatly.

...I think you may have scalped me in RP this morning. Quite glad I wasn't a witness to the undoing of said stitching.
i was expecting that. the insertion mark is either mark7 or mark8. the inserted bit just fell inside the frame because i sat on it when this happened.
for those familiar with the hill from Hampstead to Chalk Farm... this incident made it a bit more fun.
