Did it slip before the snap? The remaining stub in the frame looks inserted a bit more than recommended...

i was expecting that. the insertion mark is either mark7 or mark8. the inserted bit just fell inside the frame because i sat on it when this happened.
for those familiar with the hill from Hampstead to Chalk Farm... this incident made it a bit more fun.

Shiiit. Little bit scary when any post suddenly slips... Then that happens! You planning to raise the issue with the supplier? I'm looking at getting a similar post myself for a recently acquired TT frame. Will definitely remember the carbon assembly paste!
