Not to diminish kurt's amazing effort, but for me, the use of recumbents is a big disappointment. As with oliver's sentiment, it just doesn't fit with my mental image of the heroic rides made by Tommy G, or Steve A.
I know Steve ended up using a 'bent for some of his riding but being forced into using one with a broken foot feels different to setting out to use one for the aeros/comfort.
