Carradice SQR takes about 2 seconds to put on and take off. I commute with an SQR Tour and it's awesome. Would never go back to sweaty rucksack back and no need for a rack to weigh you down on non-commuting rides.

Second vote for the SQR. Makes it really easy to move the bag between bikes too.

Yes it does.

Been crafting the past couple of days and have made a pair of panniers. 40 litre, roll top without sacrificing internal capacity, double strap from the back to front with side clips for extra security, pouch for 1litre Nalgene, Ortlieb QL1 mounting system. Stoked.

My current Funcunmmuter. Absolutely loving how its turned out.
Having a problem finding a bag that really nicely sits in the Wald 137 basket on the rack. Thinking of getting a North Street 14 Duffle, looks like it fits in a dream. Any advice?

Hello, this is my bike https://www.flickr.com/photos/58877139@N08/26763455366/in/album-72157665518408184/ and to go work I bought a pizza rack. I have to change the fork, mine is holeless, I would like to keep the 42 tire clearance, what can you advise me ? I know the salsa vaya fork, surly straggler too or ll city macho man fork. What else ? Best regards Julien.

Why Trucker and not straggler ?

Because the Straggler are long and low, probably lower than your Genesis even.
Disc Trucker have a more traditional geometry with slightly more headtube, mean it'll likely to fit you better, also better at handling load, rather than a compromise (Straggler designed to accept them rather than build around them).
