  • Last innovative thing Nike did was Flyknit 5yrs ago

  • Nike are shit as well... My point is Adidas aren't doing anything extraordinary and those Ultra Boost are just well fucking average running shoes...

  • Weren't most classics at one point?

Who and what has been innovative (in runners) anyway? Genuine question. What has happened after 2000 that went on to be big in lifestyle runners? HyperFuse, Flyknit, Boost?

Yes, UB are hyped due to Mr Gayfish and I'm glad I got my black and silver ltd before. I wanted to try the Boost, but the models that came out in advance were always a bit off. These hit the spot – a clean, sporty silhouette with nice proportions and comfort. Too bad they fucked them up in a typical adidas way with the 2.0 colors and pattern.

  • Go-to high street trainers right now that are generally easily available without queuing up at 4am?

    What you got?

I can find anything at the moment. Have Nike stopped doing the Flyknit Free?

  • I was looking for some flyknit free 04 aswell so comfy and the 05 are just shit. have a look at size they generally have a good selection, and if any one knows of stash of flyknit 04's let us know

  • this thread boils down to "all trainers you don't actually exercise in are shit"

which was really my theory all along anyway.

  • i run in the 4.0 multicolor flyknits. great mid distance running shoe. really great. they clean up well in the washing machine as well.

I'm on a streak for having provided absolutely no contribution to this thread.

    out.

  • Thanks for the valuable insight. What would we have done without someone like you.
    You'll be sorely missed.

  • Got a pair of these. So comfortable - the upper is loads better than flyknits

  • They actually look decent on, but floppy pieces of shit without a foot in them.

  • yeah they're footbags until you get em on. Well nice though.

  • Are they good for intervals or hill reps?

  • Running? Wtf is that?

  • It's new. Very on-trend I hear.

  • Is it the new cycling or the new golf?

  • Fwiw - if running weren't boring, pointless and infinitely less fun than bicycling then, yes I could imagine doing a jog in these.

  • I'm off to the NMD party.

  • Hanon mailer - Brooks/Diadora/Kangaroos/K Swiss

Is this some sort of sick joke?

  • They're trying to sell K-Swiss for Β£159

    πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • Heard a hilarious serious convo in Hanon about how Ultra boosts were 'adopted' by street style as radical due to the fact they were made 'only' for running. Er yeah πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • 'innit?

  • New 'europe only' Nmd...

Still look like dog shit. πŸ˜€

  • I bought two identical pairs of Superga. One to replace the identical pair I have now and one for the 6 months after.

Everything form everyone is shit right now. I give up trying to keep up.

  • New 'europe only' Nmd
