front campagnolo C record derailleur conversion from clamp on to braze on question

Hi,

Have anyone ever tried to conver the clamp on 1st gen C record front derailleur into braze on version? Is that feasible?
I found in internet the old brochre of Campagnolo 1st gen C record derailleur. What I see I guess that the upper clamp on mech can be exchanged. But mabye someone has some experience and could advise me.

I am looking for braze on version that is the 1st gen, but have clamp on.

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy the braze on derailleur? You would need one anyway to get the braze on mounting part.
