Since we are talking about sunglasses, I thought I would provide an update on the POC I purchased on AliExpress.
"The POC glasses are really good. Glad I got copies as I have dropped them 4 times already.
I have fitted the (only) polarized lens provided and it is actually polarized and works very well. Very comfortable to wear and sit quite high so cover your brows - ideal when you are in aero mode with your head down.
Overall, can't fault for the money (about £14 posted). I might have issues with durability later on but at the moment 10/10
4 Lens 2016 Brand Polarized UV400 Sunglasses TR90 do blade Cicismo BIke Bicycle Sun Outdoor goggles
s.aliexpress.com/ZjmQjABv"After about a month of use, the glasses are still great and the polarized lens does a great job.
Very comfortable and shield the wind perfectly.I would simply recommend getting the version without a frame around the bottom half as the frame in the sight of vision when you look over your shoulder for cars.
I am also contemplating buying a new, REAL, POC helmet so POC might benefit from this AliExpress blatent breach of patent...

If you do decide on Bloc Sunglasses then use the code THUNDER at the checkout for 20% off. Also, their customer service is great too, so there's always the peace of mind if there are any (unlikely) problems.

Cheers for that. Prescription wise, is it just a case of emailing them? £10 for glazing is decent.

Yeah, use the contact form on the site (https://www.bloceyewear.com/contact-us ) or there's an email address on there too. They are usually quick to reply to these things. I think @Cazakstan had to request some information about her prescription that her optician kept secret so you can't just take the prescription to anyone, but you should be able to request that information from them (they are your eyes!). I think @amey did the same thing?

I have my prescription somewhere from my last free specsavers test. ("I don't have time to choose glasses now but I'll come back another time.")

Has anyone bought a carbon tarck fork with brake hole from ali express recently? The selection makes my head spin

I didnt have the PD measurement on my percription either. No idea why they want to hide it. I get my glasses done at http://www.ciliaryblue.com (worlds cheaper than any high street outlet), and they needed the PD number. However they can get it from an old pair of glasses, so I sent them in at the same time. perhapse bloc can do that?

@krikov It depends on your criteria.
It took me ages to find a full carbon one with a 1-1/8 steerer, a 30mm rake and a brake hole.
I ended up buying this for £35 + £30 postage then got import+VAT when they reached the UK so that was nearly £90 in total, so I could have bought Alpina forks for that money.
These were the forks:

For example, these are 35mm rake so closer to track ones than road ones:

reaching out to the lfgss hive-mind for opinions on carbon finish on some 35mm light-bicycle rims I am going to order (will be laced to tune hubs)
to go on this
usually would say UD matte is best but I have a matte finish on my current wheels and feel a bit bored of them so are slightly attracted to the glossy UD
oh so sexy -

12k is cool, but a bit shouty perhaps. Glossy UD is the prettiest in my opinion, but a bit boring. Glossy 3k would be a nice middle ground.

Shows up the oily fingerprints though...
I have Bloc titans with prescription inserts as well.
My prescription is +5 and +5.25 and I have astigmatism in both eyes. I've raced in my titans and the inserts are great.
