You got less than 12 hours before decision.
Hoy look good, but still a Hoy with a tiny headtube.
BTW, you can get away with -7 on the BMW compared to +7 on the Hoy.

Thanks, its a colnago super aparently with the deraileur fixtures cut off and a non original fork :(
Will probably remove all the decals at some point though and eventually maybe repaint it as the home made paint job on it atm comes off very easily!

more on the subject of 2 v 3 cable guides here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/224258/ apparently there are a few with 3 cable guides

I uses to think 3 guides meant fake, I have seen some originals with 3
the fluted seat stay caps with brazed tt cable guides puts it circa 77 I think -

Where are these dumpsters? I never see anything like this!

lug cut-outs look original as well. It was probably the colour in combination with the replaced fork and the 3 guides that gave me a wrong Impression. + I remember reading sth in your article on how to idetify a genuine nag... Anyway, glad to hear @HPx93 scored an original!

It has the Colnago logo cut out of the bb shell and also in a lot of the lugs. Either way I think he got a sweet beater
-
• #109721
Most def but there's a special place in hell reserved for people who paint a Colnago like that :D
-
• #109722
Ha for sure! With a bit of luck, the original might be underneath
-

Sadly phil original paint i think will be long gone, the fact that you guys think it might be really rare makes me even more sad that the deraileur hanger has been cut off.
Heres a picture of the bb shell from the seller (on here)
Will probably repaint after winter but i think it will always stay in beater mode due to the chop its had.
