• replacement thread cos I managed to close the other one

I bought a nice new Sunday best frame and groupset.
The wife is operating a one in/one out policy so this is up for sells.

This has been my Sunday ride for 2 years. Rode it Belgium and back, a handful of century rides and plenty of club runs into Kent. Regularly cleaned and serviced. Rides like a dream.

Everything you see in the pictures is up for grabs, apart from the wheelset and pedals.
    I'd rather not split.
    Buy it.
Throw some wheels and your pedals on it.
Ride it. Smile as the sun kisses your face and the gentle breeze caresses your hair.

Not sure how to price it.
    £425?

Apologies for the ropey photo's, I just pulled these off my phone from over the years.

  • Am I pricing this wrong?

  • nope, quite reasonable, and looks very good, but..

with 6510 levers, it should be equipped with a 9spd cassette.. not a 10spd one.

and also, I'd slam the stem&change it to a longer one (120mm at least) and also push back the saddle a little bit. aesthetics could facilitate a more rapid selling :)

a 60mm stem looks way to retarded for a frame of 57cm square. get a 120mm at least, or a longer one.

  • Hey @Halbert.
It has got a 9 speed on it. My typo.
I had to just loose the 12t off a 10sp cassette for frame spacing and compatibility.

I won't be stripping the tape off and switching out the stem, but fair point about the saddle.

  • :) Hmm, so you basically used a 10spd cassette and dropped a cog? Interesting.

Pardon my commenting on the stem length, I'm just kinda obsessed with it, as I only ride 130 and longer :)

  • No interest then?
