Got an email from Planet X to say my bike has had a new hydro shifter and caliper fitted under warranty claim, good times, wait whats that, my bike has been sent back with Yodel? Oh fuck.
It's posted to my work address, a Museum with 24 hour security on the delivery entrance, literally nothing can go wrong.
Fast forward a week, they 'attempted delivery' yesterday and 'left a card' given this is a work address and if they attempted delivery they would have delivered as in order to leave a card they would have needed to go to the delivery entrance which has a manned desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
No matter, I take it at face value (even though I know it is bullshit) and rearrange for delivery today, this time I put specific instructions in the delivery notes box. I.e. park here, walk up these steps, ring buzzer, deliver. Got another notification to say that they were unable to gain access, this fucking entrance is manned 24 hours, 7 days a week!
Try to call to sort it out, their phone lines close at 1pm on a Saturday, apparent attempted delivery was 12:55pm oh FFS.
Really don't want to go to their depot to collect it as it is fucking miles away and i don't drive, but I suspect due to the size of the box they havent attempted any delivery at all and want me to go pick it up.
The only other issue I have had with deliveries to this address (and I get everything delivered to work), was with Yodel when they delivered a package addressed to my Museum to a Tesco Local, but insisted it was delivered.
