It is in Vienna. Prices arnt bad here really, just on complete bikes. Carbon wheels and vintage racing stuff is super cheap here

I talked to the seller and a friend of mine will pick it up for me. Fingers crossed that all is going well! Will post it in CP as soon as I get it :) Mh, so if France, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK and Austria all have good deals, maybe it's just the German market that sucks! I miss living in Benelux...
ed. outside of Europe is probably not that great either... -

Good! i talked to him also, but was at a batchlor party last night. no way im driving to vienna tomorrow haha. and have no need for it. Austria has deals on specific things (spengle/xentis/cool saddles/vintage tt/vintage road) but not allot of track specific. but some times. recently there was a track bike (campy cranks, 2 sets of sherif star soldered wheels) for 350euro so some times shit is super cheap. other times people want 1500 for bullshit

My friend's also quite hungover and wasn't particularly excited about the 'job' :D Wow 350 for that really does sound like a great deal. You have these unknowing sellers here as well from time to time but the average price level does seem to vary quite a lot across countries and regions. Post those vintage TT deals here if you come across any bargains ;)

I've seen this irl and it's possibly the most bonkers build - Baum, di2, flat bar commuter!
He's only selling the frame though

With all due respect, this looks like a giant waste of a quality frame and groupset. Reminds me of fugly practical german bikes

My filosophy is 'spend most on the bike you use most' so for some it might make sense.

Is the back end meant to be that twisted?

I suppose, there were a few frames produced like that with track-use in mind, since you're constantly riding a curve... Not a houndred per Cent sure tho, if this one is original, my italian is not that great. But if it is original, which I think it is, then it's pretty fucking cool I'd say :)
