It's crazy, right. Check out this really nice textima for example: https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/reserviert-textima-sprintrahmen-von-1987-bahnrad-pista-track-ddr/509212483-217-993 I contacted the seller re another item and complemented the frame specifically saying that I'm not interested to buy since I knew it would have been out of my Price range. The seller was really nice and told me that the current offer is already beyond 1k € and that he was surprised how many People enquired. Don't get me wrong, this Looks like a great frame but >1k€ is a crazy Price...

When I lived in Berlin, a Diamant track frameset came up on Ebay Kleinanzeigen for €120.
I was there within half an hour, but someone had already been me to it.
The guy selling it had been part of the Dynamo sports club in the 1980s and didn't think it was worth much.
Luckily it was too small anyway.
