• What kind of Ozzie are you? ;)

  • A pukey one.

I made up for it on subsequent days though.

  • I'm not one to spam my shit.
But people might find this quite interesting.

  • You seem so good at this that you should without a doubt be able to estimate the data?

  • What the missing data?

  • it is quite interesting. bookmarked for later. cheers dude.

  • Yeah I estimated the TsS for it. Would have just liked the raw data.

  • Halfway through and bookmarked for later. One of the most interesting tcr reports I've read. Thank-you @skinny.

  • In my case:

    Too Long; Didn't Ride

  • Too Lethargic, Drinking Rum

  • I’d over slept, I didn’t get going until 05:30

Don't you just hate it when that happens.

  • Very interesting. Some huge days.

  • Ha. When you put it like that.

  • great idea. she is so deserving with his btwin bike. i like this girl from taiwan who is doing something really amazing. i love it i love this passion. i have already talked about her somewhere here with my simple english. i don't remember when exactly

  • i ve just talked with Min #92. she is in tirana. the gmail adress above is her own adress no problem. she is fine. she is in hostel. she take a rest. she was really happy to speak with me. tomorrow she will be on the road

  • By the way, if we could stop with her "btwin bike" that would be great. That makes it sound like she's riding this:

whereas in fact she's on that:

(Not diminishing her amazing achievement in any way, of course)

  • I think you make a very valid point. She's not doing it on a hybrid, it would be a lazy assumption to assume she is.

She's adventuring it home, 14k is no mean feat.

  • The top pic is exactly as I pictured it every time btwin was mentioned. Glad she's on a higher spec bike... Chapeau!

  • Jet lag driving me insane and can't sleep - I'll amuse myself with your wise words

  • And then there was a little confusion.

Two solos. One former pair now solo and two pairs.

Yesterday I reported that Simeon Jurukov #113 was at Alexandrouopolis and had been for 18 hours. Turns out I was misled by Trackleaders. He has, in fact, finished shortly before Rose McGovern. In a similar way FreeRoute is reporting that Matthew Pollard is still on the road. He finished a while ago.

As far as i can make out there are seven riders still on the road in five groups.

Laurent Carlier (a former pair but now solo) #205 has just gone past Komoutini in Greece. Other iders have finished from there in a day. His usual daily distance has varied. Yesterday he rode 185 km which, if repeated will see him through.

Pierluigi Talamona #126, our 68 year old Italian hero, rode 179 km in just over 8 hours yesterday and has already gone 75km today. Comfortably in Greece, I would expect him to finish tomorrow.

Daniel Nicolas Munoz and his pair Guillermo Nicolas Munoz #209. Crossed the border into Greece earlier today. Rode 178 km yesterday and 60 odd already today.

Min Hseih #92. Really hoping that Min makes it. She is a true fighter. She is deviating from the usual route and has spent the night in Tirana, the capital of Albania. She rode for 10 hours yesterday and covered over 200 km. She is underway and is moving towards Greece.

Last riders on the road re the #228 pair of Mattia Biffi and Alberto Varni. They rode 112 km yesterday to the start of the parcourse before CP4 where they have, it would seem, stopped to rest.

When Rose McGovern and Simeon Jurukov finished on Thursday, they had been riding for 20 days. If they rode 4000 km or 2500 miles, that means that they were riding 200 km or 120 miles a day. That is a RideLondon +20% a day for 20 days with mountains far more extreme than Box Hill and its 1 km at 5%.

Riders finishing next Tuesday will have done a RideLondon every day for 25 days.

Puts it in perspective, doesn't it?

  • siven

  • Man you suck at navigation!

Thank fuck you're doing TRAM next year. But please, don't go off route and get a time penalty!
