Television, drug of the nation

Watched half of the first episode last night. Can't decide if it's watchably okay, or just shit. Also - why are the episodes so long?!

for me the first episode came together properly towards the end (when it gets to the Get Down) and kind of sets the rest of the series storyline up from there. it's a silly premise but as a hip hop fan it's a fun/enjoyable one
