I'm working on it...
currently coveting something mildly chubby. -

As I don't have a cross bike at the moment, I'll be on a slightly rusty boardman. Get me!

Having previously extolled the virtues of riding off-road on a more 'basic' ( no gears or suspension ) bike, I now feel rather ridiculous :-/
-

Gears and thudbuster would be considered "basic" by today's standards. That was bleeding edge suspension at some point in time. Probably about 1992.

Wait, what year is this again?

(re Boardman) It's the only thing I have suitable for trails, so it'll have to do! Needs some TLC first mind

Mr. Van Winkle? You can go back to bed now.

I'll set my alarm for September 23rd..

Cutting edge..

I'm gonna be camping in southern California instead, I'll make sure to do a wheelie or two for you guys tho.

On that note, I've got a Thudbuster LT (31.9mm I believe) that's sitting around gathering dust as opposed to dirt, if anyone was after one.

You're buying all the cakes on the next one.

31.9mm
Crikey, what frame was that in?

Just checked, 30.9mm...
Whoops!
-
• #169
I guess you wouldn't want it on your current bike, in case it looks ugly..
-
• #170
That and I've discovered that it's better to run with 1.5bar and a rigid seatpost than 2.5bar and a squidgy one.
Also, my bike is the shiny kind of ugly, whereas the seatpost is a girder kind of ugly. It just doesn't work.

Being lazy I'd just bung more in via the valve. If you've got the time and inclination though pop the tyre off on one side and inspect to make sure there are no alien gloop balls hiding in there.
-
• #172
Somehow, I'd totally forgotten about having swapped the rear tyre over after building the rohloff wheel :-/
Don't recall any little beasties in there*, so will use the valve method.
*I have no idea if conti revosealant even produces 'stanimal' type creatures.

Smackheads from Bonymaen get syringes for me from the local needle exchange.
I pass them a valium script in exchange. Can't fault a bit of local barter.
No Hartley MTB?
