  • What is your email address?

    FreeSex@Hotmail.com?

  • You think that using Iwillstealyourcar@gmail.com is a problem?

  • 911 Turbo cab is almost as bad a the RS4 cab in terms of pointlessness

  • I'd say that the RS4 edges out an 911 cab. I think the term 'Scuttle Shake' was probably invented by someone who had driven an Audi cabriolet and realised just how shit they are.

  • Good to know, I've looked into it quite a bit now and it seems very possible with the only unknown being the insurance and how easy it'll be to get coverage for less than a year.

Been surfing craigslist and ebay and seems like an early 70s beetle can be had for around $2000usd, the more I think about it the more I doubt I'll ever want to come home...

  • whats this? some more photos if you click the photo

  • looks like a maserati trident on the big round thing

  • but not at all maserati like when you see the other photos

  • Chrysler LeBaron hardtop I believe. F*ck me I'm a saddo.

Maserati did have something to do with the body I believe?

  • Correct-ish.

It's a variant called the Chrysler TC by Maserati

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_TC_by_Maserati

  • Friend of mine sent me a pic of my old Mazda 323 we built up. Had the motor from the Mazda 323 gtr in it. Went well until the gearbox blew which was very common in those models.

  • Thanks guys! really interesting.

  • Picked up my new 'sensible' car this evening.

It's a very silly car. I like it a lot.

  • very Q car

  • Saw a weird thing down the M40 last weekend, two absolutely identical white E30 Tourings in concours condition being driven in convoy, one girl one lad, enthusiasts with matching motors

  • How many £$£$£$? Is the insurance mental?

  • Insurance is very unmental. It's about 400 a year, which is about 2/3rds what it costs me to insure the Scooby. Makes no sense at all!

  • very Q car

Erm, have you seen dem arches?!

  • Many things in the car world make no sense - Porsche 911 brake discs are cheaper than the AP ones for my Volvo 850, for example.

I've been doing the following at lunch recently:

Search for nice looking C2 or C4 in my price bracket, find it's at a dealer, Google dealer name and then read the reviews as my eye-brows steadily climb my forehead, record so far is giving up on the car after the second "these guys make Assad look reasonable" style review.

I'd go to an OPC, but the 996 would appear to be too old for them.

Other than that I've seen a lovely C4S, private sale, but it's in Stirling.

  • On an unscientific and wholly apocryphal basis, my experience is that most people (i.e. people who aren't really into cars) don't notice them. They just see another Audi estate.

  • Hactually I saw a tricked out B8 A4 Avant this am...

On second look I notice no SLine badge so geezer just bought phat allays.

The arches are the distinguishing maxfactor.

  • @danstuff
I'm guessing you paid upper twenties- that's a lot of engineering for ones money

  • Bit less - mid twenties. 65k on the clock.
