That's one of the nicest Rolex's I have seen.

Absolutely lovely looking thing. And just the ticket if you're wondering how far away those pesky artillery shells are coming from!
I do wish Telemeter scales were more popular than Tachymeter scales on watches these days.

Ended up with a Seiko 5 from my ebaying.
Badly titled and described.
"Second hand works intermitedly then stops so may need new battery date doesn't seem to change"
Lol
Seems to be in good condition, probably relatively new.
Silver with black face but might see about modding it. Only cost £16 so worth a tit about. -

Lovely!
If you ever want to pass that on, let me know.
It has the three things I'm looking for in an old watch; 1) syringe hands, 2) Arabic numerals, 3) second sub-dial.
Budget constraints mean I've stopped hunting, but you may have just motivated me to waist more time on eBay :s

Thanks @hugo7 @ricky2slicky
Hugo it was bought from a antique place in Bath, Bartlett Antiques center and it was very reasonable about £40. The picture is a bit misleading as it quite small for a men's watch but it keeps time well with wind each day. -

Still kind of lusting over the SARB033 except for the "23 JEWELS" in that random typeface, in caps-lock, no less.
Might hold out tho... Missus was talking about Junghans and birthday presents the other day...

Given the amount you bring to the thread it's only fair that you get a bit back!

Dayuuuum. The gold markers don't really do it for me but otherwise... Yum.
That said, I quite fancy the black bay bronze.

Noticed the Pelagos topping 3k on high street these dayz...

• #20168
Weren't these things like £1800 last year?
-
• #20169
New model with in-house movement and riveted bracelet, innit.
I think they (BB) were about £2300 before. Pelagos was about £2800 before it got the new movement.

You have got me thinking about this now.

The leather strap for my Element24 watch was already getting stinky so I ordered a new metal strap.
I wasn't at home to measure the lug width so checked out their website and took this to mean they were 20mm apart.
Strap turned up today, doesn't fit, turns out the lugs are 22mm apart. -

Turtles are nice x
Sweet, congrats.
I was all set to sell mine to raise funds for a NOMOS. Decided to wear it for a day to make sure I was happy to let it go. Day 3 now, and I'm so not sure.
