That issue was what got me started on basket lyfe. The EC70X fork has no hole up front either.
I previously had a shitty little Goldtec Sunlite rack that bolted to the canti bosses with a support tab running under the fork crown to the back.
It was fucking useless, and eventually the cold & fatigue caused one of the alloy(!) tabs to snap.
I know it looks like that rack has been crushed in an accident, but it hasn't. That's just how badly made they are...

Thank you so much for the detailed pics! This is making me lean towards getting the same Wald, as fitting a standard front rack is a pain with the stock v4 fork, which has no hole in the front of the crown.
