@mazzy You need a different quill to ahead adapter. so you should look now for a shot ton that will sit flush at the headset, or i think factory5 does an oversized quill stem. or non oversized bars

What's wrong with the stem in the opening post? And why not just use 26mm bars so they fit that quill stem? I will never get why people buy a 1 inch frame with a threaded fork and then want to put a threadless stem on it.

i agree the adapter is ugly as hell and straight out of anti land, was hoping he would take the easier option (swap bars)
